Kamikaze lost his fight at Lumpinee. Interview with Ahmed Saadi.

Ahmad Saadi once again proved his nickname - Kamikaze. On Saturday September 22 in Bangkok he was boxing against Liam Harrison from United kingdom. This was a title fight for WPMF belt and was arranged at the Lumpinee Stadium. Liam is one of the top names in British Muaythai, he holds now three serious titles - World Kickboxing Champion (WAKO pro), World Muaythai Champion (WMPC), and European Muaythai Champion (SIMTA). Unfortunately Ahmad lost this bout in second round by KO (left hook). Dubai Fight Academy interviewed the Tunisian fighter, who is Malaysia right now, over the phone.

fightacademy: How it happened that you lost by KO?
Ahmad: Liam was just better fighter then I am. He was blocking well against my low kicks and elbows, so I could not hurt him. In round two I was kicking left middle kick and… didn’t see that left hook coming! After the KO they carried me on stretcher to changing room, when I wake up I didn’t remember how I was knockouted …I totally forgot it!

fightacademy: How do you feel after this unfortunate fight at Lumpinee?
Ahmad: To fight a world-class fighter like Liam Harrison was a big step for me. I hope I will make better fight next time.

fightacademy: We know that your next fight according to your contract with UWFL will be in Dubai. Are you felling down after the last loss?
Ahmad: Muaythai is my life, I’m 22 now and I will go on fighting anyway. I had some really tough experience this summer in Thailand but I never lost to average fighters. Fighting the best makes me better.

fightacademy: What you would like to say to Muaythai fans in United Arab Emirates?
Ahmad: Salam to all Emirates fans who saw me on “War on the Shore” and to everyone who keeps an eye on my fighting career. See you soon!
