IFMA and WMC Delegation was presented with a royal opportunity during the bi-annual IFMA Executive Board meeting in February. Honorary Lifetime President, His Excellency General Pitchitr Kullavanijaya took several esteemed IFMA members to a private audience with the His Royal Highness Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn at the Royal Palace in Bangkok.

Representatives presented his His Royal Highness the Crown Prince with special muaythai memorabilia created specifically for the occasion. Among the gifts were a DVD collection of Contender Asia season one and a shadow box frame with custom muaythai shorts, a gold mongkol and golden prajiads. They also presented His Royal Highness Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti (son of HRH the Crown Prince of Thailand) with his own pair of muaythai shorts.

This was the second time IFMA executives had the opportunity to meet with the His Royal Highness Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. The first meeting was to congratulate IFMA in 2006 when muaythai was recognised and included in General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) after ten years of campaigning.
