On the opening day of the SportAccord Convention in Belek, a special dinner was arranged between all of the IOC recognised sports and IWGA members.IOC President Mr.Thomas Bach made an emotional speech in contribution to Mr.Ron Froehlich and also welcoming the new IWGA President José Perurena.

The President of SportAccord Marius Weiser, warm heartedly thanked Mr.Froehlich for his life long contribution to sport and to how made the World Games become one of the leading sporting events.

IFMA handed a special present to Mr.Froehlich for his outstanding contribution and support of Muaythai’s social projects as he was the guest of honour in 2012 for launching of Sport Is Your Gang in Bangkok.
