Due to its excellent aerobic conditioning and overall emphasis on personal fitness, the popularity and practice of muaythai has soared among women. Fitness First Singapore Asia recently held a special seminar for their personal trainers. The course was centered on a custom pad work workout program utilising muaythai pads.

The seminar was coached under guidance of the Singapore Muaythai Association and Contender Asia head coach. WMC Female Inter-Continental Champion Tiana Caverley, was invited to head up female instruction and lend her coaching skills.

The program was open to all Fitness First personal trainers and many female instructors participated in the workshop. Tiana impressed all the trainers with her amazing technique and powerful strikes. She demonstrated everything from beginner to advanced punch combinations, punch and kick combos and a vicious pad workout that would have any athlete struggling to keep up.  Women like Tiana are inspiring and motivating. Fitness First is certainly a leader in the fitness industry by supporting diversity and programs that encourage their trainers and members to take on new challenges and adopt new skills such as muaythai.
