IFMA President Dr Sakchye Tapsuwan greeted IFMA Executive Board member, former President of the Uzbek Muaythai Federation and now First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation Mr. Sherzod Tashmatov and the new president Uzbekhistan Muaythai Federation Mr Jahongir Boltaboev and the Secretary of the International Department Mr Bekhzod Mirtimirov.

Dr Sakchye thanked them for all their hard work, remembering the successful 2011 World Championship as well as the Silk Road Cup, the epic Muaythai tournament event that follows the historical trade route from China to India, through Southeast Asia, Persia, Arabia and into the ancient Mediterranean, over deserts, mountains and lush landscapes. Special gifts were exchanged between both parties and the 2015 Silk Road Cup will be held on the highest Government and Sporting levels.
