An important joint meeting took place between the President of the Association of National Olympic Committees, President of the Olympic Council of Asia and newly elected FIFA Executive Board Member, His Royal Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, Her Excellency Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, IFMA President Dr Sakchye Tapsuwan and newly elected AIMS President and SportAccord Council Member Mr Stephan Fox.

The meeting was particularly important for the Asian Federations to get Muaythai further included in important Asian Games, under the umbrella of the OCA and also the close cooperation between IFMA, FAMA, and the OCA and the cooperation between AIMS and the OCA to support those AIMS members that are not yet in any OCA recognised games. Minister Kobkarn thanked the OCA President for his mission and leadership in sport and Sheikh Al-Sabah thanked Thailand for a fantastic Asian Beach Games and ANOC meeting.
