Ron Froehlich, Honorary Life President of the International World Games Association (IWGA) has been named an Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Distinguished American Sportsman for 2015. The 47th Annual Induction Ceremony was held on Saturday at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.
IWGA CEO Joachim Gossow attended the ceremony in Ron Froehlich’s hometown Birmingham, Alabama, which is also the venue for the upcoming World Games in 2021. IFMA would like to congratulate Mr Froehlich on this great honour as there is no one more deserving of this prestigious title.
The IFMA world community also congratulates Mr Froehlich for his vision in sports, for his support for Muaythai, and his previous visit to Bangkok. IFMA is a proud member of the IWGA and looks forward to the upcoming World Games at Wroclaw, Poland in 2017.
