A special meeting was held in the beautiful city of Darwin between IFMA and The Arafura Games organising committee. IFMA was on site to inspect the venue, hotel and overall plans for the event. IFMA General Secretary met with local coordinator, Corey Impelmans along with the General Secretary of the OMF, Joe Hilton and Mrs. Hilton discussed all logistics. A special meeting was held with Director of the Arafura Games, Katherine Hollis who has done a wonderful job looking after the interest of muaythai – one of the highlighted sports in the games. IFMA would especially like to thank the Local Coordinator and OMF General Secretary for their hard work and dedication in making the Arafura Games a success. There are three days left before the competition and Australia is counting down.
