The national team of Russia sends the highest number of junior athletes which makes it the youngest team of the Royal World Cup so far.

Russian athletes have always been one of the strongest at the IFMA competitions as well as all multisport games – World Combat Games and FISU events. This has given Russia many outstanding athletes and coaches which share their skills and experience with young athletes who start their way in taking new heights in the sport.

Deep history of Russian muaythai and immence work done has given its fruits with more than 30 athletes in junior division coming to Bangkok for the Royal World Cup. Young Russian athletes will come to compete with their peers from all over the world for the Prince and Princess Cup as well as medals of the Royal value; for many of them this can be the first trophies they can take back home to show to their parents, schoolmates and friends.

Muaythai has truly spread all over the world and although young Russian athletes come in a high quantity they will need to demonstrate their best skills they learned from their renowned coaches to go all the way to the winner’s podium in a fair competition with the representatives of more than 100 countries coming to the event.
