Evolution Promotions, WMC, and King's Cup TV are teaming up for a spectacular event this Saturday. Brisbane's number one venue, Chandler Arena will be packed to capacity on August 29 for the Super 8 Tournament to be aired on Fox Sport. Some of the world's best middleweight fighters will battle it out for over $70K in prize money and a spot in the coveted King's Cup Tournament in Bangkok,Thailand. The King's Cup is held annually in honour of H.M. the King of Thailand's birthday on December 5th. The line up features great fighters such as: Contender finalists - John Wayne Parr, Bruce "The Preacher" MacFie and WMC World Champion Eugene Ekkelboom will take on the world team fighters like South American Champion - Cosmo Alexandre, Russian Superstar - Dzhabar Askerov, 2007 King's Cup Winner - Madsua and Italy's Diego Ballardin. This line up shows the quality of the event and the undercard will not disappoint. The undercard highlight is sure to be the one and only "Daddy Cool", the number one WMC Featherweight taking on the Malaysian sensation and Arafura Games gold medal winner, Ali Yakoob.
