Despite the turbulent political situation and all the troubles of a nation in turmoil, muaythai in Iraq is developing in stellar fashion.

The Iraqi Muaythai Federation, with the support of their National Olympic Committee, are continuing to grow in strength, diligently working towards improving their skill level in hopes of winning more and more medals.

More than 70 instructors and 50 Referees along with the National Iraqi team took part in the 1st International Muaythai seminar that was held in Baghdad.

The seminar spanned 3 days and included morning and afternoon classes, Muay Boran Training and Referee & Judges seminar.

A special thanks must go out to long time IFMA executive board member Mr. Sami Kiblawi for organising this fantastic seminar.
