Amateur Boxing Competition in Al Ain

 UAE Amateur Boxing Federation put on amateur boxing matches at indoor arena in Al An. The competition lasted for two days and about seventy amature boxers (juniors and adults) from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, and Fujairah joined this sport event. On the last 4 years amateur boxing in Emirates has grown into one of the most popular martial arts. This is no doubt the achievement of UAE Amateur Boxing Federation taking boxing in UAE to a new level. Dubai boxers training in Dubai Fight Academy made very successful sport performance in Al Ain. In weight division 64 kg Ammar Ali (Dubai) defeated Hussam Mubarak Azizi (Al Ain). Ammar fought fight of his life against experienced opponent from Al Ain and leaded on the scoring in last rounds. In weight division 69 kg Malik Omarov (Dubai) showed classical boxing technique and won over one of the most talented and successful UAE boxer - Khaseem Al Borot (Fujairah). In weight division 69 kg Ahmad Badrani (Dubai) give no chance to his opponent and knocked out Abed Joma (Adjman) in second round. In weight division above 90 kg very powerful boxer from Dubai - Kabbani Abdulmanem (Dubai) almost destroyed Abed Khairy (Ajman) who meanwhile was much taller and almost 20kg heavier than the boxer from Al Shabab. Result of the trip of four boxers from Dubai Fight Academy to Al Ain boxing competition was 4 gold medals. Congratulations must go to Al Shabab club boxing coach Yousup Shamuzov and everyone involved in training the boxers.
