3A overwhelmed – Buriram celebrates him receiving Siam Sports award

 A ceremony was held at Baan Laluad School in the Chumni district of Buriram province on Friday April 1 to honour muaythai superstar Sarm A Tor Rattanakiat who recently received the 5th best boxer award from Siam Sports. The ceremony was also attended by the press and many other muaythai fighters.
Sarm A Tor Rattanakiat from Kaiyanghadao was teary with joy as the people from Buriram attended his ceremony to receive the award of Siam Sports’ 5th best boxer. The ceremony was organized at Baan Laluad School by local MP Sanong Thepaksornnarong. Siatung Petchpiya also brought the Petch Lumphini team to congratulate Sarm A, while many famous boxers such as Kongsakd Sitboonmee, Singhdum Panomrunglek, Kiatmoo 9 and Saengcherng Pinsinchai were also in attendance.
In addition to the local MP, the ceremony was attended by Sarm A’s family as and local people from Buriram province who were delighted that Sarm A has been gaining recognition for his home province and proving that to other provinces that Buriram is the home of best boxing.
For the Petchyindee team, Siatang Piyarat Vachirattawong, the promoter of the Petchyindee program brought along Nong Boat and Nong Ball as well as many others to the ceremony too. Unfortunately, Dr. Pong Visetpaitoon and Virat Vachirattanawong were not available to attend the ceremony.
In addition, many of Sarm A’s friends from the world of muaythai were in attendance. The list of boxers at the ceremony included many past and present boxers from Buriram. Representing the provinces present boxers were Kongsakd Sitboonmee, Panomrung Kiatmoo 9, and Singhdum Kiatmoo 9 while ex-boxers such as Saencherng Pinsinchai and Saenchernglek Jirakriangkrai were also present.
In the ceremony, Sarm A gave thanks to the Buriram people and also said that he was very overwhelmed and happy to be regarded as the best boxer from 2 events already. And as for the Siam Sports Award, it was the most precious for him and he was very excited.
Sarm A announced that all the success he has today, including his life and family, are all from the result of boxing and he was very happy to be born a boxer. He could not say much but he was extremely happy. The whole time that he was making his speech, Sarm A was teary and his voice shook from happiness as a result from his own success.
