Scorpion Muaythai academy and the Slovenian Muaythaifederation, a member of IFMA have joined forces again in preparation for the 1st round of the Muay Thai league (MTL), which will be staged in the town of Novo Mesto, Slovenia on the 21st of May at 17.00.

The MTL has grown since it's inauguration last year and currently consists of 8 members,  becoming the strongest regional muaythai organisation to date. This year's tournament system will be similar to last year's with four qualification tournaments from which the best fighters and the best gyms will be selected.

The closing of the league will be a professional gala in February 2012 again in Novo mesto, where spectators will be treated toa  spectacle of around 20 fights, with many national team members from IFMA countries pariticipating.
