21.05.2011
Kengkaj scores a victory while Saksit turns the tables to win Suek Muay SiamKengkaj Sor Chokkijchai did a good job and defeated opponent Dinnuathong Tor Prarnthaksin on points in the main match of Suek Muaythai Lumphini organized by promoter Chun Kiatpetch at Lumphini arena on 14 May. As for Muay Siam, Thepnarong Sak Buriram attacked with left kicks that had him leading Saksit 3 to 1 before Saksit was able to turn the tables by attacking with kicks of his own to seal the win in the end.

In the Suek Muaythai Lumphini program organized by promoter Chun Kiatpetch at Lumphini arena on Saturday May 14, the main match was between Kengkaj Sor Chokkijchai (red) versus Dinnuathong Tor Prarnthaksin (blue) in a 110 – 111 pound fight. The referee was Visut Yingoppakan. The rate was on Kengkaj at 5 to 4 as he was regarded as having the better technique. The first round, however, ended with a draw rate.

In the second round, the rate was on Kengjak at 3 to 2 once again because the fans believed that he was probably going to maintain his good performance. Kengkaj started the fight by focusing on his right kick which he used effectively. However, Dinnuathong also maintained a good pace but just couldn’t quite match Kengkaj, and the round ended with Kengkaj leading 3 to 2.

In the third round, Dinnuathong was still the one with the disadvantage. He started with a quick pace that roused the fans but Kengkaj was able to read the game and blocked Dinnuathong, which also resulted in the rate price moving to 4 to 1 on Kengkaj.

In the fourth round, Dinnuathong quickened his speed and tried to get into Kengkaj. But as they clashed, Kengkaj was able to perform better and used his superior technique both inside and outside. Near the end of the round, Dinnuathong got kicked by Kengkaj which almost sent him to the canvas and also resulted in the decrease of the price rate for Dinnuathong.

In the last round, Dinnuathong attacked with punches in the hope that he would turn the tables with the last few seconds. However, Kengkaj hit him with a series of jabs which he maintained until the end of the fight. Kengkaj was able to control the fight and finally won with the price of 50 over 47 (from referees Lerdchai Jetasanon, Wichai Ingpanjalarp, and Boonpa Prakodpol).

In Muay Siam, Thepnarong Sak Buriram (red) took on Saksit Petchpailin (blue) in a fight refereed by Kwan Rattanarangsi. The weight for the fight was 118 pounds with a closed rate.

In the first round, Thepnarong started with a left kick. In a fairly even round, kicks were then exchanged between both sides and the round ended with Thepnarong leading 5 to 4.

In the second round, Thepnarong focused on the left and also aimed to stifle the threat of Saksit by clinching. Saksit approached but was tricked and therefore fell down quite a few times. The price for Thepnarong was still leading 3 to 1.

In the third round, Saksit was not able to hold on anymore but there was no progress. The price was still the same with Thepnarong now leading 7 to 4.

Although he was clearly behind, Saksit had still not given up in the fourth round and continued to fight as best as he could. He sent in a right kick as well as some combination punches until Thepnarong started to feel the effects. The fight was considered more equal at this point but by the end of the round, Saksit was improving and approached Thepnarong who only retreated back and did not retaliate with any kicks. As a result, the price was then reduced to a draw.

In the last round, Thepnarong rushed to attack Saksit with a left kick. At the beginning of the round, the fight was equal, but later on near the end of the round, Thepnarong did not look as comfortable because Saksit focused on kicking at the same spot 3 times. The price was now on Saksit and the match ended with Saksit winning on points by 47 to 49, consequently receiving his first 2 points in this Muay Siam program. The 3 referees were Sinchai Julawong, Lerdsin Tumniyom, Chairath Distaporn.

For other match results, Pornsawan Kornmaibaowee won on points against Petchprakarn Por Kantasa. B5 P.T.T. Thongtawee lost on points to Panomrunglek Sid Baikan. Attachai Sai Bor Sport Center lost on points to Yordmongkolchai Petchchutasawai. Saengtawan Tor Anantachai lost on points to Baotai Wor Siri Yorm. Yutthachai Petchchutasawai lost on points to Tanupetch Kiatapai. Superboy Sor Chokenittaya lost on points to Detchnorasingh Sor Singhsiri. Chalermpetch Petchpayathai finished all 4 rounds by leading Hernfah Sid Kru Jeab 40 to 1 but in the last round was hit by a powerful punch from Hernfah and lost all his momentum. The round ended with Chalermpetch still leading 5 to 1, but the referee called the win for Hernfah who won on points against Chalermpetch.
