 Monkao Chor Chanmanee, the star in red hot form with the added advantage of size, led 5 to 4 over Ratkate T-ded 99 in the first two rounds. In the last round, however, Monkao lost on points to Ratkate, who used superior technique to defeat his bigger opponent at Suek Muaythai Jed See on May 8, 2011.
In Suek Muaythai Jed See at Channel 7 Muaythai arena on Sunday 8 May, 2011, the main match was between Monkao Chor Chanmanee and Ratkate T-ded 99 (117 pounds). The rate was 5 to 4 on Ratkate. The referee was Kriangsakd Thonghong.
In the first round, Monkao had the slight advantage. In the second round, Monkao, using his size advantage, blocked his smaller opponent as well as attacking with kicks and punches. Ratekate was forced to retreat and was unable to fight back. However he tried to block Monkao and retaliate with a left kick but the power was weak. The second round ended with Monkao leading 5 to 4.
In the third round, Monkao grabbed Ratkate, who saw it coming and was able to attack back with left kicks. Monkao was not able to hit Ratkate, who did not attack in front and instead caught hold of Monkao’s waist even though Monkao is bigger and has the advantage of a stronger punch. But when his waist was held, he could not get free. The third round ended with Monkao still leading 5 to 4 because the fans thought that with his larger body, Monkao was still easily able to block and take the attack advantage.
In the fourth round, Monkao still could not solve his waist problem. He could not get over the waist attack which made him walk more slowly. Because of the slow walk, he was attacked by left kicks, even though the kicks from Ratkate were not hard, they were accurate and effective. By the end of the round, Ratkate was now leading 5 to 2 because of his skillful technique.
In the last round, Monkao was still waist-tied by Ratkate about 2 or 3 times. He could not get over it because Ratkate was very skillful with this. At the same time Monkao was also attacked with 2 kicks. The price then moved to Ratkate. Even though Monkao tried his best, he could not make it. In the end, Monkao lost on points to Ratkate T-ded 99 (49-48) by referees Prayuth Wongparamet, Narong Thanachan and Yongsakd Na. Songklar.
For other matches, Metee (Kor Kantararom) Petchpremnai lost on points to Kaewkangwan Poohongthong. Yimsiam Ooddornmuang won on points against Natthakorn Kiatarworn. Samerchai Paradorn Gym won on points against Chamuakpetch Petchkasem. Kwanlar Sor Sunanthachai won on points against Yod Paowarit Sasiprapa Gym. Yod Petch Kwaithong Gym lost on points to Gularpfai Sakdchaichote.
