Petch Ek defeats Muangsi in Muay Jed SeeMuangsi Pumpanmuang got his revenge and defeated his big rival Petch Ek by utilising his sharp kicks in the main fight of Muaythai Jed See program on last Sunday, 12 June, 2011. Although the rate was 8 to 1 on Muangsi, he was off the pace at the beginning of the fight and took a heavy punch from Petch Ek. The punch clearly threw him and Petch Ek seized the initiative by throwing repeated punches that put him in control of the fight. When the five rounds ended, Petch Ek was the winner on points

In Suek Muaythai Jed See at the Channel 7 Muaythai Stadium on 12 June, the main fight was between Petch Ek Louk Bor Kor and Muangsi Pumpanmuang in a 121 pounds rule fight. For recent form, Petch Ek had won the most recent meeting between the pair. The referee for the fight was Yongsak Na Songkla.

In the third round, Muangsi picked his moment and blocked Petch Ek’s punches with his own kicks. For the third round, Muangsi was leading 7 to 4.

In the fourth round, Muangsi took the initiative and attacked with kicks, also focusing on attacking the inside, which he did better than Petch Ek.
