Lud Fah Muaythai with Pong Lampang (13 June, 2011)

24.06.2011
Lud Fah Muaythai with Pong Lampang (13 June, 2011)Hi everyone! The first muaythai news this week is about the Muaythai conferences that have been going on in many places. One of the most well-known camps, Sasiprapa Gym, has been promoting itself and holding press conferences in many cities around the world. Sasiprapa Gym has relocated from Switzerland to Hannover and Hamburg.

For anyone who wants to contact “P’Kob”, you can contact him through facebook. P’Kob has recently finished the conference and mentioned that he will support “Kai Louk Yord” Rungravi Sasiprapa Gym to “go inter” or become well-known by foreigners.

The boxer will be going to Las Vegas in Nevada, America on 12 August, 2011, which is the Queen’s birthday (and Mother’s day) in Thailand. Rungravi will be fighting against Saenchai Sinbi Muaythai. When asked about the fight fee for both boxers, Sommart Hongsakul said that the two boxers will only receive $10,000 or 300,000 Thai Baht for the performing fee.

Before the Mother’s day fight, there will be another program in America arranged by Push Kick Promotions by ex-boxer Pongsun Ekyothin. The program will be on 16 July in California which and feature many Muaythai boxers. The main fight will be between Lerdsila Chumpae Tour and Simol Da Silva (63 kg) from Brazil.

The other fights include Ekpracha Meenayothin, the two times champion of Toyota Marathon program, taking on “The Bull” William Sriyaphai (70 kg). Kornpetch Petch Rajabhat will be fighting against Ky Hpllenbeck (70 kg). Nuengsiam Fairtex will fight Cjalres William (61 kg) and Chonlaek Kaewsumrid will compete against Baxter Humbby, the one-armed favorite superstar of American people (70 kg).

This big program is supported by the WMC and Push Kick Promotions arranged the press conference on Wednesday, 15 June, 2011 at Deva Raksa room of the Thai Army Club in Vipahavadi.

For this new hot promotion, they are more than willing to invest a big budget to arrange 3 very interesting muaythai programs this year and 4 for next year! Not only will the American fans be entertained by this upcoming program but the Thai fans can also follow the matches through the live broadcast on channels 5 and TGN.

Meanwhile in China on 11 June, 2011, Jomthong Chuwattana scored a victory by knocking out his opponent, receiving the Santa Champion title for his efforts. As for this Sunday 19 June, Yodsanklai, Narupol and Dechbanjong from Fairtex camp will travel to Zheng Zhou for a program. The rule is unknown yet.
Also, on 26 June, Thai ex-boxers who now make a living in China, Pongsak Por Ruamrudee, Thongchailek Tor Silachai, Panomtuanlek Nor Sripueng and Saenkeng Tansum Gym, will be fighting under Chinese boxing rules in Shanghai.

For an update of the Thai Fight program, Nopporn “Big Mod” Watin brought along Buakaw Por Pramook and Sudsakorn Sor Slinmee to the Thai Fight press conference in Tokyo. This is also to prepare for the big event and to arrange the live broadcast back to Thailand on 7 August, 2011. As for the program in Hong Kong on 17 July, 4,000 tickets have been sold. Moreover, the staff guarantee that the Thai Fight programs in Hong Kong and Tokyo will be a lot more successful than the one in Cannes, France.

Ekubon Por Muangubon and Madam Martina from Black Dragon Swiss have been preparing the Muaythai program on 1 October in Luzern, Switzerland. The assigned main match will be between Saiyok Windysport and Ibrahima Nijjajira, the Spanish boxer who lost to Saiyok just 30 seconds after the bell rung in the Cannes’ Thai Fight last month.

For another interesting match, the staff are in the process of negotiation whether to bring Charles Francois to fight against Armin Black Dragon Swiss since last time in the Cannes’ Thai Fight, he was knocked out by Armin within the first round.

After this program, both Saiyok and Armin will be traveling to 9 different cities across Europe in Switzerland, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark and Finland to present and teach in a series of conferences. They will be on tour for 21 days. As for August, Saiyok will start his solo conferences in Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and New South Wales in Australia for 2 weeks.

I was told by Huachai Toongsong, the senior of Armin Black Dragon Swiss that SOLF99, the number one car product of Japan, is interested in supporting professional Thai boxers, especially those who want to succeed abroad. They have indicated that the president of each camp can contact SOLF99 if they are planning to arrange Muaythai matches in Japan. Payment and price are not a big concern for them.

More International Muaythai that we should keep our eyes on is the Thailand Vs Challenger program on this upcoming 23 July, 2011 at River City Hall. Bovy Sor Udomsorn, Saenchainoi Pumpanmuang and Nonsai Sor Sanyakorn will be fighting against foreign boxers. For any fan who is eager to see fights with no advantage/disadvantage, you can join this program without having to go abroad. Better not miss it because we will surely see excellent martial arts action in this program. For the press conference, it will be taking place in a little while.
