30.06.2011
Buakaw leads Thailand’s stars to clash with Japanese boxers in 124th year anniversary Thailand-Japan relationship ceremonyBuakaw Por Pramuk will lead Thailand’s muaythai stars to fight the Japanese muaythai boxers to participate in a ceremony to celebrate the 124th year anniversary of Thailand and Japan relationships. In this special event, there will also be the screening of a documentary film about muaythai as a martial art: “Yamada Nagamasa Samurai of Ayutthaya”. The Japanese people and press have shown a lot of interest in this event and many came to the press conference.

Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Company representative Khun Panadda Jennawasin along with Mr. Veerasak Footrakoon, the ambassador of Thailand in Tokyo, and Khun Suwat Liptapallop joined one another to promote the Thai Fight Extreme program at the press conference. This Thai Fight Extreme program will start in August with Thai muaythai boxers set to take on Japanese muaythai boxers to celebrate the 124th year anniversary of Thailand-Japan relations. The event will also include a screening of a muaythai documentary film called “Yamada Nagamasa Samurai of Ayutthaya”.

Last year’s Thai Fight, which was arranged in Thailand, has been a big success for the Muaythai industry and Thailand. As a result, this year the Thai Fight program is back under the name “Thai Fight Extreme” which is legally supported by the Thai government and the program is also one of the most important projects to increase Thailand’s economy.

As for the Thai Fight Extreme in Japan, the program will start on Sunday 7 August, 2011 at Ariake Arena, Tokyo and will be broadcasted back to Thailand through channel 3 from 3pm-5pm. The Thai side will include famous boxer Buakaw Por Pramuk and foreigner boxers from France and Algeria will fight with the high-standard Japanese Muaythai boxers. Whichever team wins the most points will receive the victory.
