Kangken Lhek defeats Kao Dang in Channel 3’s Suek Jao Muaythai

 Kangken Lhek Sor Thawanrung was in very strong form as he pushed his opponent and attacked with powerful knees to win on points against Kao Dang Surapitchya Farm in the main fight of Suek Jao Muaythai at Orm Norm arena on 25 June, 2011.
In Suek Jao Muaythai at Orm Norm arena on the recent Saturday 25 June, the main fight was Kangken Lhek Sor Thawanrung versus Kao Dang Surapitchya Farm (122 pounds). The referee for this fight was Mr. Nikom Wongtasa. Before the fight, the rate was on Kangken Lhek 11 to 8, and the first round ended with Kangken Lhek leading 3 to 2.
The second round was relatively quiet but Kangken Lhek squeezed in to launch an attack while Kao Dang pushed back and sent a barrage of right kicks at his opponent. The second round ended with Kangken Lhek leading 7 to 4.
For the third round, Kao Dang attacked with left kicks but Kangken Lhek blocked the attack. However, Kao Dang was persistent and was clearly causing his opponent some problems. In the middle of the round, he sent another left kick at Kangken Lhek who also retaliated with an even better kick of his own, but Kao Dang did not give up and continued his strategy. The third round ended with Kangken Lhek leading 5 to 2.
In the fourth round, Kangken Lhek used his weight advantage to wear his opponent down with kicks. Kao Dang tried to push Kangken Lhek’s neck and retaliate. Kangken Lhek ducked his head down and was rewarded with a knee attack from Kao Dang. However, Kao Dang lost his balance and was stabbed with a sharp leg attack, reducing his rate even more. Kangken Lhek was now able to regain his pace and control the fight. The fourth round ended with Kangken Lhek still leading.
For the last round, Kao Dang expected to exchange punches but Kangken Lhek wouldn’t allow that. He sent knee attacks while the time was running out. The round then finally ended with Kangken Lhek winning on points by 49 to 47 as scored by 3 referees—Thanawuth Rangronganusorn, Thanachai Jumnong, Praprai Pratet.
