The launch of the WMC World Muaythai Stand Off will mark the inauguration of the new “WMC Stadium” located in Pomona, California, USA.

The project is set to cover a year’s worth of events, with the first event of the series being on July 16th 2011 and the final event on November 3rd 2012.

The Program for the 16th of July looks to be filled with exciting bouts and entertainment.

Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan, President of the WMC, assured, in the official press conference that took place in Bangkok on the 15th of June 2011, that in keeping up with the WMC mission of  preserving and upholding the traditional aspects of muaythai, a full Thai musical band will be flown to California, air tickets courtesy of Thai Airways.
