On Sunday night, July 10th, the World Muaythai Council assisted to the opening of a new stadium in Bangkok. A world class stadium, with great VIP atmosphere, which will be presenting muaythai fights on a weekly basis.
The show will be broadcasted live every week on TGN, in over 170 countries, and on ESPN Start Sports in the weekly Muaythai Fight Night show.

The stadium was filled to the bursting point, fights were filled with excitement and everyone sure seems to have had a great evening.
Headlining the fight card were the national superstar twins, Pongsisi and Petchsiri Por Siripong, along with the special female bout fought between Daoroong Kiatpratum and Sao Muang Intra Sor Sopit.
To inaugurate such big milestone for our sport, as the international representatives in its native country, the faces of the WMC were present: WMC President, General Chetta Thanajaro, WMC General Secretary and IFMA President, Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan, and WMC Vice-President and IFMA General Secretary, Stephan Fox.
