Petch Morakot wins Jed See’s main fight

Petch Morakot wins Jed See’s main fightPetch Morakot T-Ded 99’s and Kamlai Yok Kor Romsrithong exchanged a series of frantic attacks in their recent fight as the price switched continuously from side to side. In the end, Petch Morakot was finally able to kick his way to victory over Kamlai Yok. With the five rounds completed, Petch Morakot T-Ded 99 won on points against Kamlai Yok in this main fight of Channel 7’s Suek Muaythai Jed See on Sunday 24 July, 2011 at Channel 7 arena.

In Suek Muaythai Jed Sea at Channel 7 arena on 24 July, the main fight was between Kamlai Yok Kor Romsrithong (red side) and Petch Morakot T-Ded 99 (blue side) in a 115-pound rule bout. The rate was open on Petch Morakot at 10-9 but the first round ended with Kamlai Yok leading 10 to 9.

As for the second round, Kamlai Yok ignited the fight with a flurry of punches but Petch Morakot was able to block them. The fist fight continued for a while but Petch Morakot was not troubled. The second round then ended with a draw on Kamlai Yok.

In the third round, Kamlai Yok continued his strong attacks and mixed it up with left kicks to give Petch Morakot a hard time. But Petch Morakot bided his time before sending a sharp kick at Kamlai Yok, raising the cheers of the fans. For the third round, Kamlai Yok was still leading 7 to 4.

In the fourth round, Petch Morakot was behind but he moved forward and grabbed Kamlai Yok’s neck and launched a series of knee attacks. Kamlai Yok fought back but near the end of the round, Petch Morakot had Kamlai Yok on the canvas twice and the price then moved to Petch Morakot’s side. The round ended with Petch Morakot leading 5 to 2.

For the final round, Kamlai Yok troubled Petch Morakot with his punches. The price then went back to Kamlai Yok once again. In the middle of the round, the two boxers exchanged kicks and knee attacks with neither side giving up. With the winner still uncertain, Petch Morakot used his knee attack to send Kamlai Yok to the canvas and in doing so managed to take an unassailable lead.

Petch Morakot won the match on pointys (48-49) under the consideration of 3 referees, Cherdchaichannon Srirat, Thawat Rangsiyarom and Kriangsak Thonghong.

For the other matches, Kwan Sor Ploenchit lost on points to Yod Buangarm Sor Chokkijchai. Jamesak Sak Burriram lost by a TKO in the second round to Sua Lek Kiat Charoenchai. Harn Sor Sakrinthra won on points against Priewpak Kiatvinai. Petchchumpon Kiat Bandit Gym lost on points to Nongmai Louk Boonmee. Sanrak Kaewpim Engineer won on points against Gomen Sang Morakot.
