07.08.2011
Darachai uses knee jabs to defeat Dechpitak in Suek Assawin DumDarachai (Tor Thepmaneechai) Carry Boy went on the front foot to combine punches andh strong kicks to defeat Dechpitak Sid Sor Eung on points in the main fight of Suek Assawin Dum at Ramintra boxing arena on 31 July, 2011.

In the Suek Assawin Dum competition at Ramintra boxing arena on Sunday 31 July, the main fight was Darachai Tor Thepmaneechai Carry Boy versus Dechpitak Sid Sor Eung (126 pounds). The referee for this fight was Mr. Sakorn Phasook. The rate was closed, and the first round ended with Dechpitak leading 5 to 4.

In the second round, Darachai went on the front foot and combined punches and knee jabs against Dechpitak who also pushed back before finding his pace and returning attacks at Darachai. In the middle of the round, Darachai was also successful with a flurry of knee jabs. The second round ended with Darachai leading 5 to 4.

In the third round, Darachai began to move in close and clinch Dechpitak who also pushed back and landed a few punches in return. After that, the two boxers exchanged knee jabs but Darachai seemed to have the better technique and was more on target. Near the end of the round, Dechpitak started to launch stronger and harder attacks. The fight was still equal and the round ended with Darachai just leading 5 to 4.

In the fourth round, the pair exchanged punches and elbow work right from the beginning of the round. Dechpitak tried his best to pick up the pace and tried to bump Darachai but Darachai found the right moment to stabback with knees. Dechpitak started to lose his balance and his knee work was not as strong as earlier. Under attack from Darachai, he retaliated with punches. However, his attack did not seem to have any effect, and Darachai then launched elbow attacks, followed by right punches before finishing the round with his knee work. The fourth round ended with Darachai leading.

For the last round, Dechpitak’s final weapon was his punch. He marched forward and tried to land punches and knee jabs on Darachai but it was to no avail because Darachai was still able to control the fight. In the end, unsurprisingly, Darachai won the fight on points by 49 to 47.

For other match results, Mr. Green Por Telakul, with his left kick and left attack, won on points against Tukkatathong Sid Benjama. Yod Ek Tessaban Bangsawan lost on points to Jirasak Mor Muangkondee. Best Jitti Gym (Australia) won on points against Richard Thailand Gym (Holland).
