Buakaw versus ‘Michael’ in the second round ‘Thai Fight’

 The last 4 finalists have moved on to the second round of Thai Fight 2011. Buakaw Por Pramuk will be fighting Michael Ficicelo from France, while Kem Sid Songpeenong, the latest Isuzu Champion, will be taking on Dong Su Kim from South Korea. This particular installment of Thai Fight will take place on Monday the 24th of October at Thammasat Rangsit University Campus. Channel 3 will be broadcasting the event from 2.30 pm onwards.
Buakaw was able to progress to this final round after he beat Abdullah Mabel, a French-Cameroonian boxer, in the 70 kilograms fight. Another Thai boxer Kem was able to progress into this final round as well. Kem won by TKO over Alescio Algelo from Italy in the 67 kilograms division.
Montien Chaisuwan, Marketing manager of 3K Products Co. Ltd. and one of the biggest supporters of Thai Fight 2011, said that there will be 4 boxers in the second round. “For the 70 kilograms fight, Buakaw, the no.1 boxer of this tournament, will be fighting Michael Ficicelo from France, and we also have Abraham Rogeni (Spain) versus Frank Georgie (Australia). For the 67 kilogram division, Kem, the latest Isuzu champion, will be fighting Dong Su Kim from South Korea, and Mosab Abrani (Holland) will fight Fabio Pinca from France. Pinca is actually the ex-Champion of Thai Fight from last year. The winner of each fight will go to the finals and the match will be held at ‘Phra Boromaroob Song Mah’ on November 27, 2011.
