The month of December brought good news for guys who live and train Muaythai in the scorching heat in the burning Dubai sun. This December Dubai Fight Academy brought the U.A.E. Muaythai team to Thailand for the World Muaythai Championship 2007. The performance of the U.A.E. team wasn’t perfect (there are a lot of explanations of that aspect), but the flaws were miniscule compared to the excitement that was when one from the team won bronze medal. Mansoor Lootah, 17 years old U.A.E. national, competed at juniors in 75 kg. division.



4 days to the World Muaythai Championship 2007

The U.A.E. Muaythai team as well as French team had been preparing for the championship at Fairtex camp in Pattaya. All team has been doing pretty good. Apart from the best Fairtex trainers and main coach of UAE team Magomed Suleymanov, the team management had hired well known name in the field of Muaythai - Magomed Magomedov. Magomed Magomedov is taking care about fighting tactics and moral of U.A.E. boxers.



Pressconference of U.A.E. Team

The press conference concerning the participation of U.A.E. Muaythai Team in upcoming World Muaythai Championship 2007 (IFMA) was organized at luxurious Royal Thai General Consulate Residence. Consul-General of Thailand (Mr.Pasan Taparak) opened the conference and wished pleasant trip to Thailand and good luck to the team. The highly ranked official expressed hope that the UAE team will return back to the country with medals.

Yesterday in Istanbul, Turkey, Topuz Production organized press conference for K-1 super fights and 8 men tournament. During the conference Turkish fighter Erhan Deniz made a provocative statement. Addressing to fighters who are fighting in 8 man tournament he said „You are all foreigners and you should ask me for a permission to win“.



K-1 Dubai MAX fighting network planned for February 2008

The president and the owner of Dubai Fight AcademyVladimir Burdun came back from business trip to Hong Kong. The visit was dated for FEG (Fighting & Entertainment Group) officials about promoting K-1 events in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The negotiations resulted in confirming Dubai as a host city for preliminary K-1 MAX fighting network eight men tournament.



Dzhabar (Chengiskhan) Askerov and Abdulmalik (Sultan) Gadzhiev signed contracts with Dubai Fight Academy

Today, in Bangkok two, well known in Muaythai circles, fighters - Dzhabar (Chengiskhan) Askerov and Abdulmalik (Sultan) Gadzhiev signed long term Management Agreements with Dubai Fight Academy. According to these agreements Dubai Fight Academy becomes exclusive representative of these fighters throughout the world in connection with professional fights.



Dubai Fight Academy officials visited Bangkok Boxing Stadium

Yesterday, Stanislav Bukhlov (executive director of Dubai Fight Academy) and Magomed Suleymanov (main coach of Dubai Fight Academy) accepted kind invitation of Siraphop Ratanasuban (Songchai jr.) and visited Bangkok Boxing Stadium. During the meeting with Siraphop Ratanasuban Dubai Fight Academy and Thailand's number one promoter agreed about organizing S-1 title Muaythai fights in Dubai.

Smooth as silk was journey of Dubai Fight Academy Team to Korea, sponsored by Thai Airways . On July 21st two Muaythai boxers from Dubai took part in kickboxing competition in Korea called K-1 Khan Against the World. From the very beginning Dubai fighters were considered to be underdogs. But what happened on July 21st put Dubai on the martial arts map.



Najmeddin Al Hadad and Ahmed Saadi will fight tomorrow in K-1 KHAN Korea.

On 18th July we departed from Dubai to Bangkok and after 7-hour flight reached the country of Muaythai at 6 o’clock in the morning. In Bangkok we spent the whole day at Rompo Mansion waiting for our flight to Korea. Ahmed Saadi and Najmeddin Al Haddad trained lightly with Thai trainers and Magomed Suleymanov .
