WMC Planet Battle, Hong Kong.
Hong Kong's premier venue, the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wanchai will come to life again on June 4 when some of muaythai's best will battle it out for the title of Planet Battle Champion. K-1 Superstar Bob "The Beast" Sap is on the card together with Ramaza, "The Punisher" from Russia; Alain "The Panther" from Hong Kong and Thor, the God of Thunder from Australia. The undercard is full of big names.

The Muaythai Federation of IFMA (MFI), member of IFMA since 1990 will be hosting one of their biggest National Muaythai Championships to date. The 9th IFMA India National Muaythai Championships 2009 is set for July 10-12, 2009---at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. This Championship will be an official qualifier to select the cream of the crop top Indian athletes for the historic IFMA World Championships 2009 in Bangkok.

Darwin, Australia (10/05/2010) - An explosion of light and sound heralded the start of the Arafura Games 2009 with an Opening Ceremony that had the people of Darwin on their feet cheering the thousands of athletes from across the Asia Pacific Region, and beyond, and the start of nine days of fantastic athletic competition. The stadium was packed to bursting point with an electrifying atmosphere when over 4,000 athletes marched proudly into the stadium bearing the flags of country.

Over thirty European countries are in full preparation for the upcoming European Championships in Liepaja, Latvia which is certainly a highlight on the IFMA event calendar. The Latvian Muaythai Federation has done a fantastic job organising this event fully supported by the Latvian government. May 16th and 17th will see the first Spanish athlete qualifier for the IFMA World Championships. The event will be hosted by Templo Thai Muay Thai gym, located n the Mediterranean seaside and next to Barcelona.
More than 50 fighters will be vying for a spot on the National Team to represent Spain in this 2-day event. Attendants will also have the opportunity to take a referee seminar.
