tournament series 2011/2012

The
aim of the tournament:
-
to elect the national team of Hungary during several stages , that will
represent Hungary on the IFMA international tournaments in year 2012.
-
in the frames of the series there is opportunity for fighters of younger age or
with less experience to fight
- to popularise muaythai and at the same time,
the healthy and sporty way of life
Type
of tournament
The
tournament is open, there might participate clubs that are members of the HKF and from other
associations/countries. Foreign clubs should be a member of their country's
IFMA accredited federation.
In
the finals (as being a qualifier for the national team membership) only
Hungarian clubs can participate.
The
fighters in each stage participate in one fight, except the finals. In the
finals four participants fight in elimination system. To the finals we invite
the fighters that reached the most points during the qualifiing events, besides
these, medalists of the IFMA European Cup, European and World Championships of
the previous (2011) year are invited.

The
date of the finals will be set later, depending on the exact date of the 2012.

Age groups:
12-13
yr kids
14-15
yr cadets
16-17
yr juniors
18-35
yr adults
Adult B class: less than 8 fights won
Adult A class: more than 8 fights won
When
stating the fights won, pls. Consider the fights fought in boxing, kickboxing,
cage fight/MMA as well!
The
age is decided by the full years of age.

In
case in a weight class there is only one fighter registered, he can participate in maximum one weight
class higher, with his own and his coach's consent.

Equipment:
muaythai
shorts, gumshield, groinguard (if possibly metallic), shin-instep guard, body
protection (except adult A class), sleevless shirt (under the body protection),
elbow protection, helmet, bandages, gloves (10 oz), females breast and
abdominal protection
Gloves,
helmets, shinguards, body and elbow protection is provided by the organisers.
6. Registration
All
fighters should be registered in advance, bearing valid medical certificate,
and under 18 years a parental consent form. The forms are provided by the
organisers.

7. Rules
IFMA
rules
The
fights are scored by judges and referees bearing qalification for national
muaythai events. Any team arriving to the event can bring a J/R, but he/she
should be registered in advance by his federation.
