Abdulmalik (Sultan) Gadzhiev will fight in K-1 Fighting Network Turkey, which is held by the Topuz Production in association with FEG Inc. on Friday November 2nd 2007 in Istanbul, Turkey. Topuz Production was founded in 2006 and is owned by French businessman Murat Dodurga and Birol Topuz who is former professional Muaythai fighter and amateur kickboxing World Champion (WAKO). This event is one of the K-1 Fighting Network's regional qualifying tournaments and will feature superfights with K-1 stars and eight-man heavyweight elimination tournament. Abdulmalik (Sultan) Gadzhiev has already arrived to United Arab Emirates where he will be preparing for the contest in Dubai Fight Academy Gym. Abdulmalik is sponsored by Fairtex and proudly wears Fairtex gear. His first opponent in tournament bracket will be experienced European fighter Dzevad Poturak (Bosnia Herzegovina). One month before the event a heavyweight boxer from Russia - Sergei Ivanov will arrive to Dubai to spar specially with Abdulmalik.
