Muaythai got a boost in Sweden last weekend when for the first time it was featured live on national TV on Saturday afternoon from 16:13-17:00. The exposure was indeed fantastic as this was prime time slot during winter sports week. All 13 bouts where also on the web live and Swedish Muaythai Federation's President Fredrik Johnson commentated the event live together with a professional sports commentator. Fredrik took the opportunity to explain the sport and the rules to the many viewers nation wide. The feedback has been very positive so far.!! IFMA/WMC would like to congratulate the SMF as this is a great milestone for the Swedish federation.
