Scorpion gym Novo mesto hosted the final round of MTL in its hometown of Novo mesto, Slovenia. The competition, which was under the patronage of IFMA/WMC and is recognised by the Slovenian national Olympic committee, was a gathering of some 46 male, female, junior and children fighters from 5 countries.

 

After last year’s Enfusion live 4, which was broadcast in 50 countries around the world, Slovenian fight fans were treated to another evening of great fights. They witnessed some national team fighters going at it against each other and also some very young and bold prospects who proved they are the bright future of muaythai in the region.

 

 

Spectators greeted their favorite fighters and applauded all the winners, giving recognition to good judging and refereeing by IFMA licensed officials Mrs. Monika Jakse and Branko Germovsek. The competition commission carried out the final totals of achieved points during 3 rounds of competition participated by 23 gyms from 9 countries in the 2013/14 season.

 

Best gym award went to both Scorpion gym and Muay Thai gym Ptuj, who acquired equal points. The best fighter award was presented to Mirko Vorkapic who dominated Germany’s Marco Henschke in the main event. Prizes were also awarded to all winners in each weight class. Slovenia’s team manager monitored the event and will shortly decide with the list of candidates who will represent Slovenia at the upcoming World championships in Malaysia.
