WMC I-1 World Muaythai Grand Prix 2009, will be held in Star Hall, Hong Kong Trade & Exhibition Centre, on 21 April 2009. This world class venue will hold yet another muaythai super gala under the banner of the WMC. Once again, in the 65 kg World Grand Prix, there are 8 champions from 8 countries. At the end of the day, there will be only one KING! The 8 champions are: Andrei Kulebin (Belarus), 3 times and defending I-1 World Champion, IFMA World Champion. Santichai (Thailand), 3 times I-1 GP finalist, former Chiangmai Champion. Yoon Ha-Jin (Korea), Korea Muaythai Champion. Stephen Meikle (Scotland),  British Welterweight Muaythai Champion and former Scottish Welterweight Muaythai Champion. Michael Dicks (England), WMC Intercontinental Champion, SIMTA British Champion and UKMF English Champion. Peymen Shahrokni (Sweden), Sweden Mark Sarracino (Australia), reigning WMC Australian Champion. Dave Hale (Canada), Super Fights: Joey “Bam Bam” Lee (Hong Kong), WMC Asian Champion vs Rosalie Berghuis (Holland), WMC Intercontinental  Champion and 3 times Thepprasit Stadium Champion. Bryan “Stormy Kid” To (Hong Kong), Former Hong Kong Flyweight Champion and Gold Medallist of IFMA World Championships. vs Damien Trainor (England), WMC European Champion.
