The IFMA Medical Commission convened for a meeting to discuss various important topics during the recent IFMA World Championships on May 8th in Langkawi, Malaysia.
Some of the topics on the agenda included the establishment of an efficient channel of communication between members in order to encourage on-going discussions and dialogue, local medical facilities and insurance coverage during and before competitions, general knowledge sharing with regards to the WADA anti-doping code and the approval of the new IFMA Medical Declaration form required to be completed by all athletes competing at an IFMA tournament.
