Tomas Bach, the President of the IOC was a keynote speaker at the opening of the 2014 SportAccord International Federations Forum. The event was held at the Beau-Rivage Hotel in the Olympic capital of Lausanne in Switzerland. The IOC President expressed his delight at the UN’s very recent recognition of the autonomy and freedom of sport and of the IOC’s mission.

Mariuz Vizer, President of SportAccord also gave a warm welcoming speech to all the different sporting federations present at the IF Forum, of which IFMA is one of the 92 international sports federations governing specific sports, or full members, of SportAccord.
