We are proud to announce that a special IFMA award ceremony will be held at the Muaythai Gala “A Night of Olympism”, as a special part of the Royal World Cup 2015. It is aimed at recognising and honouring excellence and sincerity in the sport of Muaythai. The awards celebrate individuals and entities that have had outstanding achievements or made significant contributions to betterment of society from among the IFMA National Federations.
The Award Categories for the 2015 Ceremony will be:
Sportsman of the Year
Sportswoman of the Year
Team of the Year
Breakthrough of the Year
Coach of the Year
Referee of the Year
Federation of the Year
Hall of Fame Male
Hall of Fame Female
Best SIYG Initiative
Best in Sustainability
The voting process will run through the following stages:
Stage 1: National Federations will propose candidates for the categories. Dates for nominations – June 1st to 15th 2015
Stage 2: the Jury Panel will select the top 3 candidates who best suit the criteria of the awards and can be voted on by the public
Stage 3: The public votes for their candidate of choice online. Voting begins July 15th, 2015 and ends August 12th, 2015.
Stage 4: The winners will be announced during the Muaythai Gala Night, on August 19th 2015 in Bangkok.
