Muaythai fans in over 150 countries are looking forward to June 26, 2009 (Montego Bay, Jamaica) for the muaythai mega-event, Champion of Champions 2. The Caribbean Classic Celebrity Golf Invitational (CCGI) tournament and charity event will feature the hottest muaythai fight card in the world. Liam Harrison (UK) will take on Thai superstar, Anuwat Fairtex for the World Muaythai Council Lightweight Title. This fight is Europe’s best versus Thailand’s best lightweight and both fighters are superstars in their home countries. Belarussia’s superstar and three-time WMC I1 Winner, Andrei Kubelin will fight for the WMC Welterweight World Title against the current World Champion, Musab Amrani from Morocco which will undoubtedly be a war! The next fight will be the battle of the muaythai legends; Buakow Por Pramuk against the Australian superstar and Contender Asia season one Finalist, John Wayne Parr. This is one of the most anticipated muaythai matches in history.

Following that up will be the WMC Intercontinental Title Fight. It will be an interesting match between Contender Asia season one Semi-Finalist, Sean Wright from Scotland against Contender Asia season two qualifier winner, Marco Pique from Surinam. Contender Champion and WMC World Champion, Yodsanklai is taking on the Brazilian and Intercontinental WMC Champion, Cosmo Alexander. This will be a war! Both fighters are known for their aggressive fight style. Next up, will be the WMC Super Middleweight World Title Fight between the current World Champion Eugene Ekkelboom and the Dutch Legend Rayen Simson. You’ll see one of the most experienced muaythai fighters against a young and aggressive Australian Champion.

The next fight will be the one to make Jamaica proud. The WMC Super Light Heavyweight World Title between Jamaican/Canadian Clifton Brown versus Kaoklai, the Thai legend. Jamaican fans will be behind Clifton; can he beat the famous Kaoklai? One of the most anticipated muaythai matches has been the talk of the fight community for the last 5 years. The WMC Cruiserweight World Champion, Nathan “Carnage” Corbett will take on the Dutch legend, Tyrone Spong. The whole world will be watching for the outcome of this super match! The Super Heavyweight WMC World Title will be between the current champion, Paul Slowinski (Poland/Australia) against French Superstar, Patrice Quarteron. Representing female muaythai will be the WMC Female Lightweight World Title between American, Angie Parr and European Champion Julie Kitchen from the UK.
