SportAccord, the umbrella body for the world recognised combat/fight sports has called in for the next meeting. 16 Sports met at this important meeting in Lausanne, in which 7 of them are Olympic sports, to discuss the 3rd edition of the World Combat Games.

The meeting was chaired by IOC member and chairman of SportAccord, Gian-Franco Kasper. SportAccord council member and AIMS President, Stephan Fox has made the presentation on the perspective of the games.

 

The World Combat Games 2010 in Beijing and 2013 in St. Petersburg, both under patronage of the IOC, were celebrations for martial arts and fighting sports, culture exchange and forums. Over 2000 of the world’s elite athletes participated in these unforgettable events.
