April 22-24, the final round of the USA Championship will take place in Phoenix, Arizona.

The final qualified 200 athletes from all 52 states who have earned their place in the finals   will gather in the Phoenix, Arizona area to compete for their dream to represent the United States at the 2016 IFMA World Championships in Jonkoping, Sweden, also the offical qualifier for the 2017 World Games under patronage of the IOC.

The US muaythai open championships have become one of the most talked about martial art events in the United States and many VIPs will travel to Phoenix to be ring side. Many other sports, especially from the world of martial arts will fill the arena.

IFMA has acknowledged USMTA’s success and its effort to promote muaythai to the highest recognition and the USMTA motto of living your dream.

USMTA is one of the 130 IFMA member federations promoting the five muaythai pillars of respect, honour, tradition, excellence, and fairplay to make sure that IFMA World championship is a unique platform for cultural understanding.

This years main goal is for Team USA to participate in the World Games 2017 to showcase the strength of American Muaythai and to invite the world at the 2021 edition of the World Games held in Birmingham / Alabama USA where history will be made in one of Americas most beautiful cities.
