A special meeting took place between IFMA President, Dr Tapsuwan, IFMA General Secretary, Stephan Fox, FAMA Vice President, Dato Shahnaz Azmi, NOCT General Secretary, Maj.Gen. Charouck Arirachakaran and the Minister for Tourism and Sport, HE Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul. His Highness Sheikh Al-Sabah welcomed the delegation, showed his continued support towards Muaythai, especially with the sport being included in many multi sport games in Asia and also in the World Games, FISU world championships and so on. 

The cooperation between the international, the continental federation, the National Olympic Committees and the OCA is the key to success and Muaythai has gained an immense popularity through the work of IFMA – the sole world federation for Muaythai recognised by the OCA.
