The IFMA Opening Ceremony was a true sporting spectacle when the National Federations from 5 continents marched proudly into Bangkok’s The Mall Bangkapi Exhibition Hall.

The opening was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Rangsan Ditthabunjong, representative of HRH the Crown Prince of Thailand. President of the WMC General Chetta Thanajaro and President of IFMA Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan both gave inspirational opening speeches.

A one and a half hour cultural show followed, which took the audience on a journey through a thousand years of history from the days of ancient to present day muaythai.
