Kem defeats Kongjak in the second round of Suek Jao Muaythai

Kem defeats Kongjak in the second round of Suek Jao MuaythaiKem with a 10-1 fight record is considered a lot better than Kongjak and he did not disappoint the fans as always. He finished with an 8 count and knocked out Kongjak Sor Tuantong with an elbow in the second round in Suek Jao Muaythai at Ormnorm Stadium on 12 March 2011.

The main match in the Suek Jao Muaythai program on 12 March 2011 at Ormnorm Stadium was the match between Kem (147 pounds), who fought with a 3-pound disadvantage, and Kongjak Sor Tuantong. The rate was 2-1 on Kem. The referee was Ouyporn Kiowkung.

The first round ended with 10-1 on Kem but it was changed to 3-1 in the second round. Kem was able to control the pace and attacked with right kicks and punches. Kongjak then regained his composure and attacked his opponent with knees. In the middle of the round, Kem attacked back and used his kicks and smashed his left fist at Kongjak who fell towards the rope. The referee was counting to 8 but Kongjak did not give up and stood up to fight back even though he was in a weak position now. Kongjak elbowed Kem on the forehead which made him attack back with an elbow to Kongjak’s jaw. But Kongjak, unfortunately was not able to fight back. He lost by knock out in the middle of the second round.    

The other match results include Rungubon Eminent Air versus Petchwanorn Akebangsai who were equal in power until the second round. In the third round Petchwanorn attacked with left kicks and was hoping for dominance but Rungubon hit him with full right fists. The referee was counting to 8 but near the end of the third round Petchwanorn regained his composure. After that, the rate 3-1 was on Rungubon for the last two rounds. Petchwanorn fought his best but the result was not satisfying because Rungubon controlled the whole game and finally won by a big points’ gap over Petchwanorn.

In other fights, Sittichai drew with Songniyom (Tuantong) Pumpanmuang; Jamesakd Sakdburirum won on points against Sittisakd Shor Chanmanee; Silangen Wor Wiwatthananon lost on points against Chamuakpetch Petchkasem; and Jaokampee Sithkrusem won on points against Boonberkfah Sor Ngarmresort.
