 In 2006, King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand will become the longest reigning monarch in the World. To celebrate his diamond jubilee, the Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand (AMTAT) which is under royal patronage under the umbrella of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA), and the World Muaythai Council (WMC) will host the extraordinary “Muaythai World Championships 2006”. This special event will be held on May 30th to June 8th, 2006. First in the history of UAE National Muaythai Team will take part in this Muaythai World Championships.
