Sport senator makes progression of Thai boxing in schools

 The Senate Standing Committee on Sports is now ready to coordinate with the Ministries of Education and Sports to come up with a clear course for muaythai to be incorporated into academic institutions and practiced at schools to help maintain and develop its popularity.
On April 5, Senator Narumol Siriwat, the president of the Senate Standing Committee on Sports who is also known as “Madam Mol”, hosted a meeting which included on the agenda discussions about improving and supporting muaythai to be incorporated into the curricula of educational institutes.
Madame Mol stated that the consideration to support muaythai to be incorporated into academia is now being discussed and is beginning to take shape. They are cooperating with the Ministry of Education to help accept this proposal for every school to embrace the culture of muaythai. Furthermore, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is proceeding to develop a clear Thai boxing course as well.
