Kem defeated Prakaisaeng to reach the final

Prakaisaeng lost to Kem at the end of the fourth round in the semi final of the Izuzu program (Suek Jao Muaythai) at Ormnorm arena on 16 April, 2011. Although Prakaisaeng was able to launch a right kick attack in the third round, he was caught by a powerful punch from which he never recovered, and the referee eventually decided to call an end to the fight.
At Suek Jao Muay Thai at Ormnorm arena on Saturday 16 April, 2011, the main match was between Kem and Prakaisaeng in the 21st Izuzu bout of 150 pounds. The rate was on Kem at 7 to 4. The referee was Praprai Prated. The two boxers were as fairly equally matched but by the end of the first round, Kem was leading 2 to 1.
In the second round, Prakaisaeng controlled the start and attacked with right kicks but Kem was able to return with his own right kicks. The two exchanged kicks and in the middle of the round, Kem was attacked strongly with right kicks but he was able to defend them by clinching his opponent’s leg and later on retaliated with his own kicks. The second round ended with Kem leading 5 to 3.
In the third round, Prakaisaeng tried to find the right moment and attack with right kicks, but Kem defended well by clinching his leg. But Prakaisaeng continued to attack with knees, gaining a cheer from the crowd. Kem, however, tried finding his tempo back and returned the attack. Prakaisaeng continued to attack with kicks but near the end of the round, he focused on right kicks but lost his balance and got attacked with knees from Kem. Kem then threw a barrage of nonstop punches at Prakaisaeng and these seemed to have knocked Prakaisaeng back on his heels. The third round ended with Kem leading 5 to 1.
In the fourth round, Prakaisaeng grabbed Kem’s neck and attacked with knees. Kem fought back and attacked with punches to scare Prakaisaeng, but Prakaisaeng was not returning the fight as expected. Finally, the referee decided enough was enough and he called for a TKO win for Kem around the middle of the round.
As a result of this victory, Kem progressed to the final where he will meet Nopparat Kiatkumtorn while Prakaisaeng will compete for the 3rd position against Dernchonlek Sor Sor Niyom.
For other match results, Sittichai won on points against Singhmanee Sor Srisompong. Yokviddhaya Petchsimuen lost on points to Petchwanorn Or Khunthorn. Damian Kwaitong Gym won by knock-out against Suriya Pumpanmuang in the fourth round.
