28 April 2011. Dubai, UAE. The official Grand Opening Ceremony of Russian Business Council has been successfully held on Wednesday, 27 April 2011. Being an indicator of a promising future for the organization, RBC Opening Ceremony was attended by well-known VIPs and businessmen. The event gave outstanding opportunities for Dubai Martial Arts Academy to be exposed at the high level.

Russian Business Council is a non-commercial organization officially registered under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry that is representing interests of the Russian business community in the UAE. The entity is comprised of more than 20 private companies (both Russian and foreign), and Dubai Martial Arts Academy is being one of them.

“Sport is one of the fastest developing industries worldwide, and I was sure that the Russian businessmen will support their sportsmen living abroad as they always do in any other country”, said Vladimir Burdun, the Head of RBC Sports Department and the President of Dubai Martial Arts Academy. “Therefore, there was no doubt that in such high-level organization as Russian Business Council the Sports Department should be created. It’s an honor for me to be the Head of Sports Department as it gives lots of opportunities and lots of responsibilities at the same time. I’m sure that under the umbrella of Russian Business Council we’ll bring sports in the UAE to the new level”.

The RBC Grand Opening Ceremony was attended by more than 300 VIPs and businessmen, among them there were main partners of Dubai Martial Arts Academy – Dar al Tawasel group, Thai Airways, and Cramer-Salamian Law Firm.
