Malik Omarov, Vladimir Burdun and Stanislav Bukhlov were guests on the celebration of anniversary of Dubai bikers’ club - Black Eagle. Around one hundred bikers from different UAE clubs were hanging on the beach of the brand new Fudjairah Rotana Resort & Spa. The place was decorated with big ice figures depicting eagles and motorbikes. Harley Davidson riders cheered at the sight of Muaythai fighter - Malik Omarov whose fight they witnessed few weeks ago during War on the Shore Muaythai event at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi.

Dubai Open Karate Cup 2007 Today, during the meeting in Al Shabab club U.A.E. National Karate Federation and Dubai Fight Academy promotion group have set up the organizing committee for Dubai Open Karate Cup 2007. The event will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 16th-21th July 2007 and will include competition for Individual and Team Kata, Individual (-55, -60, -65, -70, -75, -80, +80, open) and Team Kumite as well as seminars. Al Shabab sport club will host the competition that will last for three days.

On April 20th 2007 Dubai Fight Academy organized Muaythai Event War on the Shore-2, officially sanctioned by World Muaythai Council. The amphitheatre at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina was packed to bursting point. Damas Group sponsored War on the Shore-2 professional event. Also great support the organizers received from the venue of the event – Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. Pasan Taparak (Consul – General of Thailand) attended the event with other Thai officials.

Today Dubai Fight Academy held first press conference regarding upcoming Thai Boxing Event - War on the Shore-2. Six Dubai fighters were present at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi press conference hall: Abdallah Abou Hamdan, Malik Omarov, George Micouris, Najmeddin Al Haddad, Mohammed Sanad and Ahmed Saadi. The event will take place on Friday, 20th of April 2007 at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. Six matches are scheduled for the fight night.

Amateur Muaythai continues to go from strength to strength. An important meeting was held in Brussels with all 13 Olympic and GAISF recognised martial arts in attendance to discuss the possibility of organising the first ever World Martial Art Games. All leaders agreed to stage these games, and Muaythai will be one of the disciplines featured alongside boxing, taekwondo, judo, wrestling, karate etc.
