Today come to an end the first day of 2nd International Open Karate Master Cup (I.O.K.M.C.) organised by Martial Arts Academy. The competition took place in Etisalat Academy Recreation & Sport Complex. The main rivals in the field of karate were Iran and U.A.E. Iran which is well known as a country were thousands of citizens are involved into martial arts came out to be the strongest opponent for the team of Emirates. However Iran came second after excellent performance of U.A.E. National team. Both teams went toe to toe but finally U.A.E.

Martial Arts Academy and Etisalat Academy Recreation & Sport Complex has joined to promote 2nd International Open Karate Master Cup (I.O.K.M.C.). Today Mohammed Abbas (the board member of U.A.E. National karate team), Vladimir Burdun (the owner of Martial Arts Academy) and Omar Omari (Head Of Marketing Etisalat Academy) revealed to the mass media details of the upcoming competition. In 17 and 18 of August national karate teams from Qatar, Yemen, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and U.A.E. will compete for medals in kumite and kata.

On 7 of June had come to an end World Amateur Muaythai Championship 2006, organized by International Federation Muaythai Amateur (IFMA). The event has taken place in Bangkok, Thailand from 31 of May up to 7 of June and was elegantly arranged at MCC, Mall Bang Kapi. 441 athletes from 70 countries participated in this World Championship; three rings were open for completions during one week. Those seven days of Championship have brought Muaythai to another level.

9 March 2006, UAE Amateur Boxing Federation oganized open amateur boxing championship in Al Ain. Best amateur boxers from all over Arabian Emirates took part in this competition. 48 kg Mohammad Saeed (Alain) win Turki Omar (Fujairah). 51 kg Mohammad Mansoor (Alain) win Ahmed Saif (Fujairah). 54 kg Matar Doukhi (Alain) win Omid Mokahamidov (Abu Dhabi). 60 kg Osama Alajadi (Alain) win Kamal Jambaba (Dubai). 64 kg Qasim Albarut (Fujairah) win Elias Ssebulime (Alain).

Russia, March 4, 2006 – a member of Creative Concepts Martial Arts Team – El Moukhtar Dacosta took part in professional boxing competition in small Siberian Russian town Nefteyugansk. Creative Concepts Real Estate sponsored this trip of the fighter to Russia. El Moukhtar Dacosta from Creative Concepts Martial Arts Team competed in 69.9 kilo weight category. Originally from Portugal, Dacosta has been boxing extensively in Holland, Belgium, Hon Kong and the USA. During his fighting career he was known as Bruno, he took the name El Moukhtar after he converted to Islam.

Abu-Dhabi, yesterday in Al Jazeera sports club has been held 3rd Ramadan U.A.E. boxing championship. Four athletes from Creative Concepts Martial Arts Team took part in this competition: - Malik Omarov, Magomed Suleymanov, Bakhtiyorkhon Norboev and Alla Aldeen Chahin. Malik Omarov won first place in 75 kilo category. Southpaw boxer from Russia, Malik won by unanimous decision. His left straight punch was so heavy that his opponent’s helmet has been off few times during the fight.
